Desert Dreams:A 5-Day Moroccan Adventure

Following breakfast at the hotel, we return through the Dades Valley, stopping to appreciate the spectacular "monkey toes" rock formations and the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul, which still stands tall. We continue towards Tinghir and arrive at the magnificent Todra Gorge. The towering 300-meter red cliffs provide a dramatic backdrop, and you'll have the opportunity to walk beneath these spectacular walls, where rock climbers regularly test their skills. You'll also get a peek of native life in the surrounding adobe settlements. After touring Todra Gorge, we will head to Erfoud for lunch. Our drive next takes us to the desert settlement of Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a wonderful hotel at the base of the enormous sand dunes. Dinner and stay in a traditional desert hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, continue your Morocco Desert Adventure with an exhilarating 4x4 trip of the dunes. The excursion includes exploring fossil-rich black volcanic rock formations, visiting a nomadic family in a traditional tent, and experiencing Gnawa spiritual music in Khamlia hamlet. After, you'll have lunch at Merzouga or Hassi Labied.

After lunch, explore the canal irrigation system and walk through the verdant oasis at the base of the dunes. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting camel trip with an experienced guide. Riding your dromedary, you'll explore Erg Chebbi's lovely sand sea and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Your hike will take you to a traditional nomad camp, where you may spend the night in a warm tent under the stars. Enjoy dinner while immersing yourself in the desert's enchantment amidst the towering dunes.

After a restful night among Erg Chebbi's dunes, enjoy the breathtaking sunrise above the sand. We will offer a traditional breakfast before departing for Rissani, where you can visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and tour the enormous palm orchards. We'll stop for lunch in Nkoub before continuing through the magnificent Draa Valley to Zagora. We will give dinner and overnight lodgings at a good hotel in Zagora to rest after a day of excitement.

After breakfast in Zagora, we will drive through the Draa Valley to Marrakech, taking in the stunning scenery. Our first stop will be Ouarzazate, well known as the "Gateway to the Desert." Explore Taourirt Kasbah, a beautiful stronghold reflecting the region's rich history. Next, we'll visit Atlas Film Studios, where many great films were shot. This intriguing website provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the world of cinema, including film sets and backdrops.

Our drive will take us across the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic vistas of craggy peaks. We will transport you to Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation. Our services will cease there.
